The Soundtrack To InevitabilityThe stars have a cold expression to them
as they seemingly drift wordlessly through infinite darkness
They have only moments in my sight
as Science ends them, in the knowledge that time is more powerful than their glow

Miles are ritualistic truths
steeped in longing
Across the gulfs
Where all my little issues mean as nothing

A gas cloud surrounds me and my little nuances
I am so small
I, the finite and the obscure
I, the carbon spec in a sea without end

The lonely space-ways
Lanes of traffic which are empty vessels
Not unlike my heart

If you listen closely, you can hear truth
in the spaces between the stars
It is called NOTHING
It is fore

CountdownTick tock tick tock
Where is the clock
That sounds within my head
And all the words
That do occur
With nothing except dread
I cannot feel-
This isn't real
The thoughts they will remain
Until someone
Will be the one
To diminish all this pain
Who can cure
All unpure
And cast away the lies
That do repeat
That same beat
Of all that I despise?
Finished first
I must be cursed
With what they call despair
Help me now-
Don't ask me how
And really- do you care?
Tick tock tick tock
I found the clock
That's deep within my head
It must be fate
That you're too late

I am sorry that I am not as innately malleable as you would wish of me
I am sorry that I am not as weak as you assumed when you attacked me

I am sorry that you have to die out of spite
